2020 is half over, summer is almost half over, many of us wish ythat 2020 was over, some of us wish 2020 never happened.
As I scroll through my images from this year, I'm coming to realize that 2020 is not turning out to be an iconic year that I'd envisioned for images! Many of my images in the catalog are centered around the abundance of birds we have here at the compound or the flowers that my husband so eagerly looks forward to planting and nurturing all spring. Though I am happy with the abundance of close up bird and flower images, the catalog lacks much in terms of the landscapes and portraits that I was planning to shoot this summer.
The year is moving by fast, but sometimes not fast enough, and we have lost so much ground with Covid 19. I won't get political in the posts but until we have some leadership and people take responsibility, we will continue to slip behind.
I have ventured out a few times this year, in fact I was out on day one of 2020 with my Meetup group photographing the very first sunrise on January 1. That's where I will leave you all today. I leave you with some beautiful sunrise images of what started out as a great year.
Have a great day....
