Macro Monday....on Tuesday

Dragonfly

This is an Orange Meadowhawk Dragonfly that I came upon after photographing some flowers in the back of our property near the wetlands. As I walked back up the hill towards the house,I stopped to pick a raspberry when I spotted this dragonfly. Fortunately for me I happened to have my macro lens on the camera! I didn't have a tripod or monopod however, so I wasn't able to soot many keeper images but this one turned out nice despite the backlighting from the sun.
